Who is the glorious King?
The Lord All-Powerful is the glorious King.
Psalm 24:10
Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things.
Romans 2:1-2
And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.
Acts 2:42-43
When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you.
Psalm 56:3
I say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety, my fortress. My God, I trust in you.”
Psalm 91:2
I may speak in different languages, whether human or even of angels. But if I don’t have love, I am only a noisy bell or a ringing cymbal. I may have the gift of prophecy, I may understand all secrets and know everything there is to know, and I may have faith so great that I can move mountains. But even with all this, if I don’t have love, I am nothing. I may give away everything I have to help others, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing by doing all this if I don’t have love.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
I called to the Lord, and he heard me.
He heard my cries.
He lifted me out of the grave.
He lifted me from that muddy place.
He picked me up, put me on solid ground,
and kept my feet from slipping.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
Many will see what he did and worship him.
They will put their trust in the Lord.
Great blessings belong to those who trust in the Lord,
for those who do not turn to demons and false gods for help.
Psalm 40:1-4
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us, that he may incline our hearts to him, to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his rules, which he commanded our fathers.
1 Kings 8:57-58
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
3 John 1:2
